“Martin Luther King Jr.” by artist Aaron Gilmore.

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, we are having a one day workshop that combines the art of spoken words and drawing inspired by his “I Have a Dream” speech.

The workshop will be led by poet Victoria Porter (of MVP Speaks) and teen mentors from Arts @ Large. Family of the students are welcome to join us in the last hour where we’ll perform what we created in the workshop.
