We are honored to present our last, but certainly not least, Featured Member Exhibition of 2016-17, featuring photographer PJ Boylan’s architectural photography. A seasoned traveler and photographer, PJ’s travel photography is worthy of a National Geographic magazine covers. Her refined sense in the relativity of color, shapes, and scale allows her to compose a narrative in a single frame, which separates the essence of her work from a “pretty picture” and defines it as stories within a photograph.
July 21 – August 19, 2017
Opening reception: Friday, July 21
Join us for the opening reception of our annual youth art show. This year we celebrate “United Through Art,” a simple understanding that art allows us to speak to one another with various expressions, from words, images, to body movement. The exhibition features artwork from Summer Art Camp’s ceramics, fiber art, alternative photography and poster week, as well as collaborative project from various programs such as After School Art Class, Afternoons with Art, and Teen Video Club, which will be screening their video.
Latin Dance week students will perform at 5:30 pm. Youth DJs from the Scratch Sessions South workshops will also be on deck to provide festive tunes.
The exhibition runs through August 19.
