Back to basics! Come join us for an afternoon of the fundamentals in live figure and still life drawing and painting. We will learn posture and poses, and take turns posing and drawing. We will also study the masters of still life, like Paul Cézanne and others.
Afternoons with Art (AwA) is our art education program offered during days when schools are not in session (based on MPS calendar). Think about it as a mini art camp. AwA includes winter and spring break programming as well as individual days during the semester (see list of dates below).
AwA classes are fun and gives the students their own freedom to understand art and expression while guided by a structured curriculum and experienced art educators. All art supplies and a healthy snack are included in each class!
