Back-to-School, Week Two

We’re celebrating a second week of back-to-school! It’s going to be all about chalk art. We will make our own chalk from scratch, design chalk art and create a chalk mural on the south side of the building!

After School Art Class is our project-based after school programming during the semester, running from Tuesday–Friday weekly. All sessions are FREE and open to all students ages 6–12.

After School Art Class sessions are fun and creative, and encourages progression and achievement. Weekly planned projects help students learn new skills, build on existing ones and explore creative strengths. Students are encouraged to come for all sessions throughout the semester but drop-ins are also welcomed. Parents and siblings are welcome to join us on Fridays for Family Art Days.

Although not required for each After School Art Class session, parents/guardians are required to fill out a Emergency Contact Form for each academic school year. The form must be filled out before/during drop-off for the first time. Click HERE to fill out form

Family Art Days (new!)

This year’s After School Art Class we’ve added Family Art Days to the program. Family Art Days is every Friday during After School Art Class during the fall 2016 semester. Parents, guardians, sibling and all family members are welcome to join us in art making. Family Art Days helps promote art making between parents and their children and hope by our facilitation of family art time, it would inspire families to instill art making in their homes.
