About the Annual Members Show
This annual non-juried exhibition is dedicated to showcasing the artwork of our talented members. Over 150 pieces in a wide range of media are presented salon-style throughout our gallery, creating an exuberant display of color, texture, form and flow. The style of the artwork varies as much as the medium.
The opening reception in itself is a creative salon. Art lovers and exhibiting artists, budding and esteemed, gather to converse, connect and share creative ideas and techniques. For many, WPCA’s Annual Members Show has become a tradition and among their favorite to show work.
Who can submit artwork?
WPCA members. Membership must be valid through the run of the exhibition (September 4 – October 3). To check your membership status, contact

Accepted artwork, quantity, size…
We accept a wide variety of styles, topic and media.
- 3 pieces max. A diptych will count as two pieces; a triptych will count as three pieces.
- 4 feet max. in any direction.
- 2 pieces max.
- Base: 24 inches max. diameter. Artwork span: 48 inches max.
- You may provide your own pedestal, as we have limited amount of them.
Submission can be made either via email or at our gallery in person.
Submission must include the following:
1. Completed Entry Form. Click here to download.
2. Digital or printed images of the submitted work. Images (file names) must be numbered 1, 2, 3 and match the order in which they are listed in the Entry Form.
Artwork can be dropped off at the gallery after submission is confirmed. Drop off can be made Tuesday-Saturday, noon-5 pm. All artwork, entry form and images must be received by 5 pm on August 22.
Unlikely, but in the event that we are unable to accommodate all submissions, the exhibitions committee will select at least one of the total individual’s entries to be included in the exhibition. Should this happen, the artist will be notified and asked to pick up the remaining work no more than one week after notification.
A Consignment and Agreement Form will be emailed to artist after a submission is accepted. The form is also available at the gallery upon drop-off.
Ready to Hang/Install
All work must be complete and prepared for gallery viewing. 2-D work should be framed (if applicable) and equipped with hanging wire of sufficient strength to safely support the work. If the work requires special installation, we require additional instructions from the artist and encourage the artist to be present during installation. If the work is excessively large or heavy, the artist must install the work. Any incomplete entries (e.g. no hanging wire) or wet paintings will not be accepted.
WPCA retains a 20% commission on all sales of artwork. Please price your work accordingly. If your work is not for sale, please write “NFS” (not for sale) in the “Value/Price” section of the entry form and list the value of the work. The value must be provided for insurance purposes.
Pickup Work Post-Exhibition
Pickup can be made starting on Tuesday, October 7, Tuesday – Friday, noon – 5 pm. Please notify us if those hours don’t work for you and would like to arrange alternative time to pick up your work. Work not picked up within 30 days after exhibition close will become the sole property of WPCA.
2014-15 Featured Members Artists.
Each year, a juror selects four artists from the Annual Members Show to exhibit individually in a Featured Member Exhibition. Each exhibition opens on Gallery Night and runs for 10 weeks. This year’s juror jury is artist and UWM educator Josie Osbourne (Click here for past jurors and artists).
This year we invite visitors to vote for their favorite piece of artwork. The “Audience Favorite” will win a prize package that includes memberships and gift certificates. Additionally, one voter will be randomly drawn to receive prizes as well.
