Art Educator

Oscar Quinto-Zamudio Jr. is an art educator, photographer, videographer, etc. that attended UW-Milwaukee for art education. Oscar had the experience to work alongside ArtsECO and participated in social justice training sessions. Through the ArtsECO program, Oscar was introduced to Walker’s Point Center for the Art the Summer of 2017. Through the remainder of the year, Oscar interned there and learned more about the mission that WPCA had to offer to the community. In early 2018, Oscar took the position of art educator and began developing lessons to empower Latinx youth and understand the underlying issues that go around the city and nationally. Through this, Oscar has been able to collaborate with Casa Romero and develop mural banners with high schoolers depicting activism and the importance of shedding light on such issues.
