At every stage of life, creativity is a powerful tool for growth. Our Art Education programs are designed to nurture imagination, build confidence, and strengthen community connections for youth, teens, and adults.

• Youth Programs: Through hands-on exploration, children learn to express thoughts and feelings, develop problem-solving skills, and discover a sense of autonomy. These classes give them the tools to preserve and celebrate their cultures while building a foundation of creativity that lasts a lifetime. Programs include
  • • Afterschool Art Classes: Spring and Fall Semester ($50 registration fee per semester gives you access to ALL classes & materials that semester)
    • Youth Empowerment Week: Spring Break extended programing (sliding fee registration fee)
    • Summer Art Camp: 8 weeks of extended programming exploring a different medium each week alongside a guest artist (53204, Member & General Rates available)
• Teen Programs: For adolescents navigating identity and purpose, our programs provide a safe space to experiment, collaborate, and grow. Teens sharpen critical thinking, strengthen their voices, and learn to channel their creativity into meaningful projects that reflect who they are and who they want to become. Paid opportunities include:
  • • CMAP-Creative Multimedia Internship Program (Spring or Fall)
    • ROOTS Art Residency for Youth (Spring or Fall)
    • MKE Rec Art Internship (summer)
• Adult Workshops: Creativity doesn’t stop with age—it evolves. Our adult classes encourage lifelong learning, offering opportunities to deepen artistic practice, explore new techniques, and connect with others. Whether rediscovering art or pursuing it for the first time, adults find inspiration, resilience, and joy in creative expression.
